Top Ten Things Your Out-reach Ministry Needs to Reach a NOW Generation!

1. Profile on Social Networking Sites - Let's face it. Multiple Millions of people are on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and still MySpace each and everyday. Those people are seeking ways to improve their lives as well as filled the void of their empty soul. They are looking for anything that inspire, inform as well as encourage and entertain. Shouldn’t you and your message be there?

2. Creative and Compelling Content - Once you have decided to engage with seekers, present content that is interesting, inspiring and leads them to biblical truth. Create content in multiple formats: pdf, mp3 as well as video.

3. Web site or Blog - Once you have created a presence on the social networks and have interacted with creative and compelling content, most people will want to know more about you and what you have to offer. A clear, concise and engaging web site or blog is a must!

4. Products for Purchase - Contrary to popular belief, people DO like to invest in people and things that uplift, inspire or connects with them on an emotional level. Create products at every price point so that people can purchase from you that are in any income bracket. If you only create and make available high end priced products you will miss an opportunity to serve someone that may not have a huge surplus of money to spend. You should have products on your web site or blog beginning at least at $3.99 on up.

5. Newsletter Sign-up - Once you have made the initial contact, constant, but not annoying communicating is a must. Make your newsletter available it multiple formats as well. Via email, text, itunes, app download.

6. Special Event or Gathering - People do like to connect with other like-minded people. Host an event daily, monthly or yearly. Some examples are prayer call, web conference, web chat or live in person conference, class or seminar. Make it informative, inspiring and interactive.

7. Contact and Follow-up System - This will be one of your most valuable ministry tools. You must have a system that is simple, easy to search and available in multiple formats; online, mobile and desktop.

8. Supporters and Prayer Partners - Ministry can be exciting and rewarding, but it can also be lonely and exhausting. You will need a team of people to aid, encourage and cover you spiritually and financially. I believe God has people that are assigned to your assignment. Some like to be visible, others like to be anonymous. Learn ways to connect with each person assigned to your ministry and how they feel most comfortable sowing into you and your ministry.

9. Virtual Assistance - When you really begin to operate your ministry at optimum level, you will need administrative assistance. I have found value in securing the help of a virtual assistant. With the help of modern day communication tools, you will rarely need actual in house office staff. A good virtual assistant can help you run your ministry smoothly.

10. Mentor or Coach - In order to learn, grow and expand you will need a guide to help you navigate the maze of ministry. There will be things you don’t know, things you can't see and potential traps and roadblocks along the way. You will need a trusted expert that has been where you are trying to go. One of your greatest investment will be in someone that can help lead you along your ministry path.
