Could your Youth or College Choir use $10,000?

(Atlanta, GA) — In celebration of Black History Month, the upcoming Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference will feature a Youth & College Choir Competition Friday, February 17 at 12 noon, hosted by the Prince of Praise himself Byron Cage. During last year’s competition, Alabama A&M, Fresh Anointing Gospel Choir from Brownsville, TN and Alabama State went toe to toe for first, second, and third place prizes totaling over $10,000! During the excitement, last year’s host, Kirk Franklin telephoned one of the winning choir member’s moms (a single parent) to personally deliver the news. The Youth and College Choir Competition was live wired with a wall to wall crowd.

A special rate is being offered for Youth and College Choirs until February 1st.

For a group with 30 or more members, registration is only $50 per person instead of $99. This awesome rate includes registration for the competition, GHF youth sessions, plus an unforgettable luncheon with 2005 Stellar Award Nominee Tye Tribbett.

Each choir will have an opportunity to perform for 6 minutes and GHF will provide an 88 key keyboard, bass amp, and basic drum set – choir must bring their own snare drum.

This year’s conference is being held at Reid Temple, AME in Glen Dale, Maryland February 15-17.
