TRACY MORGAN MOVES TO WAVA RADIO

STELLAR AWARD WINNING RADIO ANNOUNCER TRACY MORGAN HAS JOINED WAVA 105.1 FM

IN WASHINGTON, D.C.Washington, D.C. – Tracy Morgan, who has spent almost a decade as a radio personality at Washington, D.C.’s WPGC Heaven 1580 AM until leaving the station in January 2006, has announced a new chapter in her career.

Morgan has joined WAVA 105.1 FM as the host of their popular Sunday afternoon gospel radio program. She’s on air from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. each Sunday interviewing artists and spinning the latest contemporary gospel hits.

Morgan was recently inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame and was the 2003 Stellar Award winner for Announcer of the Year. She also hosts the syndicated “Tracy Morgan Radio Show” and is very active in various community programs such as her recent show campaign to give needy children new shoes. She’s also a consultant with the Spiritco1.com online radio network. Finally, Morgan also serves on the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy Advisory Board. She resides in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. with her husband , Keith, and their daughter, Katrina.
