Bryan Popin's Testimony Inspires New CD You Can Make It In Partnership With eOne Music

CD Featuring Guest Vocalists Tamela Mann, Martha Munizzi Available In Stores, Online October 22

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 22, 2013) - Soulful Singer/Songwriter Bryan Popin announces the release of You Can Make It on October 22 through a partnership with eOne Music. You Can Make It marks the first national debut for the piano player who has dedicated his life to writing and recording music that will bring listeners closer to the heart of God.

"Worship is an amazing thing because you help people see Jesus," said Popin. "You can be a light and help them experience God's love musically. I hope to accomplish that with You Can Make It. I want it to be an anthem that speaks encouragement into listeners and restores faith in those who may be broken."

Popin has lived a life of resilience through ups and downs in his personal life and career. A composer and singer on tour across the country as a 12 year old, he experienced the incredible works and guidance of God's hand, received unexplainable blessings as a young adult, but then went through years of painful trials and tests before finally seeing his promise fulfilled.

"I could have been sifted," Popin says, "I could have been taken out, gone bankrupt, or lost my marriage. My life is really a story of how God's great love and incredible grace has kept me together through all the ups and downs."

The 14-track CD You Can Make It became an anthem and soundtrack to his life for Popin. The CD features a compelling collection of songs penned by Popin featuring guest vocals from powerhouse vocalists Tamela Mann and Martha Munizzi, and Jesse Campbell (NBC's The Voice.) Popin co-produced You Can Make It with Grammy winners Ira Schickman (Chaka Khan), Bryan Lenox(TobyMac, Marvin Winans), and Myron Butler (Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann.) You Can Make It contains songs that are reflective of Popin's journey.

"I travel full time from church to church, and in my spare time I write," said Popin, who moved to Nashville seven years ago. "I've been asked to lead and to be on staff at different churches. Bishop Jakes asked me to be on staff when I was younger and at that time, I still wanted to tour.  I'm glad I did because of the experiences I've had and the people I've gotten to know. I've met some amazing leaders and been around some amazing people. It's really helped mold the artist and man I am today. I wouldn't trade that for anything."

Popin recently debuted new music at the COGIC AIM Convention and Kirk Franklin's House Of Blues Gospel Brunch, and is slated to perform at GMWA and other events to support the release of the record. All tour dates and events are listed at BryanPopin.com/upcoming-events.
