PAUL PORTER SET TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM F.R.E.E. / IN STORES ON OCTOBER 29th

Nashville, TN (Tuesday, October 1) After three decades of celebrated contributions to gospel music alongside award-winning quartet The Christianaires, founding member/singer-songwriter Paul Porter is set to embark on a promotional tour in support of his solo offering F.R.E.E., available on October 29th.
In addition to the promotional tour Porter is set to visit hospitals to speak to and inspire stroke and aneurysm survivors in their fight to health restoration. An issue quite close to home for the crooner as the aneurysm he suffered in 1996 set in motion a grueling ten year battle to recovery including learning to walk and talk again. That life-changing event would serve as the inspirational narrative that led to the creation of Porter’s musical testimony of healing - ‘F.R.E.E.’.
The outing will see Porter showcase numbers from his Urban-tinged, forthcoming project including tracks featuring ‘American Idol’ winner Ruben Studdard and Grammy® winners Le' Andria Johnson and Smokie Norful. Norful, plays co-star on the album’s soul-soaked lead single "F.R.E.E.". Impacting gospel radio with its infectious old school groove and stirring vocal displays, the tune has only heightened the already mounting buzz for Porter’s solo foray.
With production from Grammy® Award winning production duo Blac Elvis (Beyonce, Jamie Foxx) and songwriter Harold Lilly (Alicia Keys, Beyonce) in tow, the ten song project boasts effortless blends of Porter’s classic tenor dressed in modern, contemporary stylings.
