SUPER PRODUCER PHARIS EVANS, JR.
FORGES NEW GROUND WITH THE FOUNDING OF
FOUNTAIN OF LIFE RECORDS
For nearly 2 decades, Pharis Evans, Jr. has written and or produced music for a vast array of music royalty including the Williams Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Yolanda Adams, the Canton Spirituals, Vickie Winans, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Kelly Price, Albertina Walker, Neal Roberson, Dr. Bobby Jones/NSC and others resulting in Billboard chart topping hits and multiple Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award nominations. Calling All Saints, his 2000 debut album with Saints With a Vision, the choir he founded resulted in a #17 debut on the Billboard Top Gospel Charts and a Top 10 single, Stellar Award nomination and Chicago Music Award win for If Nothing Else, Thank You.
Evans has been predestined for purpose growing up as the son of noted preacher Rev. Pharis Evans, Sr. and the nephew of the “godfather of preachers” and founding pastor of Chicago’s historic Fellowship Baptist Church, Reverend Clay Evans. Borrowing from his rich family legacy and invaluable experiences and life lessons, Pharis founded Fountain of Life Records to provide music that both revitalizes and refreshes the spirit much like water quenches the natural thirst.
Fountain of Life releases will include Due Season a 2 disc set from Pharis Evans, Jr and Loved Ones, the long awaited follow up disc from Saints with a Vision as well as music from newcomers Romandis Moore, Davie Moore, DeWayne Strong and noted pastor Samuel R. Blakes.
