Derrick Brown & WOR (Weapons of Righteousness)

Derrick Brown & WOR
(Weapons of Righteousness)

Derrick Brown & WOR (Weapons of Righteousness) is a praise and worship musical ensemble comprised of skilled worship leaders and minstrels throughout Columbia, SC. The main purpose of the ministry is to usher the hearer into the presence of the Lord.  God is their focus, His Glory is their passion. WOR lives by the scripture found in Exodus 15:3, “The Lord is a man of War, The Lord is His Name.”
Derrick (founder), is a member of the Bible Way Church Worldwide [Darrell Jackson, Pastor], and a tenor of the Stellar Award/Grammy Nominee Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers; where he is known as “Thunda!” for his robust and strong voice. He has recorded numerous CD’s/DVD’s and have shared the stage with a plethora of recording artist and national ministries - too many to be named.
WOR released their EP, “Call Me A Worshipper” in August 2007 and their highly anticipated CD entitled “Let It Rain”, will be released Winter 2014. They now celebrate the release of their new EP “Burn It Out” featuring newcomer soprano diva Roberta Gardner. This highly up-tempo Praise Anthem, produced by Marlon D. Stokes is sure to provoke the hearer into spontaneous praise and worship. The EP also features the urban Christmas tune “Born In Bethlehem” produced by Grammy Award Producer Cedric Thompson featuring lead vocalist CJ Butler and Tracy G. Brown.
Get ready for the new sound of worship that is being released into the atmosphere. The sound of Thunda! The sound of the abundance of rain! The very breath of God! Let's set the atmosphere for Prophetic Worship!
