In 1993, "The Godfather of Gospel" Music Rev. Timothy Wright was able to get a large portion of NYC's choirs together for a one night recording that would change the face of Gospel Music forever. That night Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Albert Jamison, Bishop Eric McDaniel, Evangelist Valerie Boyd and many others joined forces to show that NYC was united in giving praise to Almighty God. In June of 2013, the N.Y. Fellowship Mass Choir comes back together for another "Live Recording & Videotaping" to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the timeless international hit "Come Thou Almighty King".
Continuing the legacy of "The Godfather of Gospel" Rev. Timothy Wright, his son, Pastor David Wright revived his beloved New York Fellowship Mass Choir with a "live" recording in Brooklyn, NY.
With introductions by Albert Jamison, Bishop Sam Williams, and Pastor Kevin Bond, the session featured soloists and writers to include; Chrystal Rucker, Bishop Bruce Parham, Monique Walker-Davenport, Professor Craig Hayes, Doobie Powell, Shawn Bigby, Timoney Figeroa-Caton,, Rubenstein McClure, Saundra Cepeda, Earl Jones, Roger Hambrick, the Leon Lacey Orchestra
COMING SOON... The highly anticipated radio single "Trust Him" (He's Able) from Godfather Records own Pastor David Wright & The NY Fellowship Mass Choir will be serviced to radio in November 2013 with the full CD scheduled for release January 2014.
