Nancey
Jackson Johnson is making up the time she took off to marry and start a
family. She’s once again on the music fast track of promoting a new
CD. The first single, “I’m Free” from The Return of Nancey Jackson
Johnson has been building momentum at radio and having some air
personalities expressing the excitement to hear that four octave range
back on the scene. “This song is refreshing, it’s upbeat ,uplifting and
inspiring . It’s great to have her back” says, Queeni at WOKB 1680 AM in
Orlando, Florida.
Jackson
Johnson recently performed at Bishop TD Jakes’ Megafest Celebration.
Making her appearance on Thursday, August 29 at Woman Thou Art Loosed,
she joined the line up of some mega names such as: Oprah Winfrey,
Jennifer Hudson, Cedric the Entertainer, Babyface, and others.
More
than just a mega voice Jackson Johnson hails from a family of
ministers. She’s a PK (Preacher’s Kid) the youngest of six children.
Her musical journey started at the tender age of six that led to several
opportunities to showcase her talent. After taking a hiatus from
recording, the door of opportunity opened once again when multi-award
winning gospel artist, Donnie McClurkin asked his long-time friend to
consider recording for his new label, Camdon Records. Jackson Johnson
makes it very clear that ministry is first and everything else follows.
