Shawn Bigby presents “#The SetList” Volume 1

Since the release of  “#The SetList” Volume 1, Shawn Bigby has reached another pinnacle of success in the Gospel Music Industry.  Capturing the attention of renowned gospel music executives across the United States, Bigby’s release set an unprecedented, never seen before success, by hitting #27 on Billboard charts.  Without assistance from a major label, without distribution, and without radio promotion, Bigby has set what may be known, as the new trend of changes in the business of gospel music based off his March 4^th release.

Bigby’s musical beginnings started long before his position as Praise and Worship Leader for New Life Fellowship where the Pastor is National Recording Artist John P Kee.  From his humble start at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, where his first song ever sung was ironically “He’ll welcome me” by John P Kee, to his first single released July 2012, “Your Way Is Better”, Bigby has never ceased to captivate audiences and usher in the presence of God. In his early years, Bigby received his call to worship leader, which lead him to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Pastor Kenneth Dean, where he learned under the minister of music there, Brandon Groves.  It was the learning and perfecting of his gift that propelled his music ministry and would later strategically placed him in position as worship leader for New Life Fellowship.  His persistence and call to Worship Leader opened many doors.  Writing songs for many established artists to the likes of Earnest Pugh and the New York Restoration Choir, Bigby’s writing ability, vocals and undying, fervent passion for God, has featured him on many cd projects as both writer and artist in most cases. 

Well known in the Gospel Music Industry by Radio personalities, Industry Executives, Indie and National recording artist alike, Bigby has shared the stage and ministry with gospel greats as Jason and Jonathan Nelson, Mali Music, Lowell Pye, Tunesha Crispell, Lejeune Thompson, Kim Burrell, Stephen Hurd, Pastor Shirley Caesar, John Lakin and BOW, Dwayne Woods, Judith Christie McAllister, Israel and New Breed and many more.  He was also featured on John P Kee’s latest release, “Walking in Favor” which has been blazing the gospel radio charts for some time now.  He can be seen on stage with John P Kee, while touring throughout the country.
