Announcing the Historic Recording of the
International AME Church Mass Choir
Featuring
Myron Butler, Melonie Daniels and Troy Bright
Senior Bishop John R. Bryant and the African American Episcopal Church celebrated the release of AME LIVE, the first recording of the International AME Church Mass Choir with performance and listening events in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee and Chicago, Illinois. The live recording, produced by Adrian Dunn and Curtis Lindsey was the highlight of the church’s 2013 Music and Christian Arts Ministry Conference held in the Gospel Music Capital of the world, Chicago, Illinois. Over 125 singers gathered from AME Churches across the country for this historic event.
Reverend Anthony Vinson, Sr., a founding member of the MCAM auxiliary and former worship leader, program chair and associate director currently serves as the fourth Director of the International Music and Christian Arts Ministry for the AME Church as well as the executive producer of AME LIVE. MCAM was created to educate, elevate and expand the use of the arts and incorporating music, drama and sacred dance in worship throughout the AME Church.
The ten track CD features a vast array of music for the church worship experience in addition to featuring guest performances from Minister Troy Bright of the Kurt Carr Singers and vocal powerhouse Melonie Daniels. The current single, Nobody Like Our God featuring Motown Gospel recording artist Myron Butler is making impact at radio.
The CD and DVD will be available via digital outlets and online on August 5th with the choir making promotional tour stops throughout the summer months.
