Desmond Pringle Celebrates Community Leadership

DESMOND PRINGLE
CELEBRATES COMMUNITY LEADERS WITH
THE EMPOWERMENT FELLOWSHIP GATHERING

Touched by the untiring work of churches and community based organizations in inner city communities across the country, noted singer/songwriter and pastor Desmond Pringle sought to find a way to bring renewal, hope, inspiration and encouragement to the people on the front lines.  This gave birth to the Leadership Empowerment Fellowship Breakfast.

Co-sponsored by Magnum Opus Company and the Watered Garden Fellowship, the gathering places focus on the revitalization and strengthening of local pastors, ministry lay leadership teams as well as community and civic leaders.  Special recognition is given to the “unsung heroes” working diligently as part of churches and community based organizations considered “off the beaten path” by many.

“There are many churches and community organizations doing impactful work in their cities, neighborhoods, towns and communities – and making a real difference”, says Desmond.  “As salt and light, they are enhancing the flavor and effectively doing the work of the ministry.” While the work is sometime tedious and often time it is easy to be wearied in our well doing, I personally felt a need to bring people together for a time of celebration and revitalization.”

The first of these multi city events takes place on October 11th at Chicago’s Apostolic Church of God.  For information on tickets and additional cities, please contact 1-888-212-4482. Keep up with Desmond Pringle via Twitter at @DesmondPringle
